Life on the command line

If, like me, you are old enough to have begun your computing career before GUIs, you were all too familiar with the command line. Interestingly, I find myself still using it nowadays as  OS X is built on a Unix core. The infrequency with which I do this, and forgetfulness from impending senescence mean, however, that all too often I'm unfamiliar with the syntax of a particular command: SS64 to the rescue!
